Apple’s First Foldable iPhone Might Not Be Available in September — 'Plus' Model Could Make a Comeback
Apple's first foldable iPhone has been one of the most anticipated devices and the subject of rumours for quite some time. Several leaks have already hinted at its possible launch timeline.
We already know that the foldable iPhone may debut alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in September this year, while the standard iPhone 18 is expected to arrive later next year alongside the iPhone 18e. Now, an analyst suggests that the foldable iPhone, or iPhone Fold, could start shipping a few months after its announcement.

Apple's First Foldable iPhone Might Not Be Available in September
According to Apple analyst Tim Long, shipments of the foldable iPhone will likely begin in December this year, which would be a couple of months after the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max expected in September.
The analyst further revealed that Apple is also planning to introduce two more devices alongside the base iPhone 18 in March next year. These may include a more affordable iPhone 18e and either the iPhone 18 Plus or the iPhone Air 2.
Apple has not officially confirmed any details about the foldable iPhone, the iPhone 18 lineup, or their release timelines. As these details are based on leaks and speculation, readers should take this information with a pinch of salt. If Apple is indeed planning to bring back the Plus model, we expect more clarity in the coming months.
